Mike has been happily married to his wife Ellen since 1977.  They are both graduates of Northern Arizona University and have two sons, Gabe and Dan. Mike’s hobbies are photography, woodworking, jogging, bicycling, and anything to do with motorcycles.

Mike started in woodworking and cabinet making in 1978. This kept him busy and allowed him to meet several local residents who truly enjoyed Mike’s work. Small remodel projects soon gave him a reputation that kept the phone ringing. Mike obtained his General Contractor’s license in 1979. In the beginning, the company primarily performed residential and commercial remodeling. However, as MFC established a solid word of mouth reputation in Northern Arizona, the projects became larger. In 1992, the company became incorporated as Mike Furr Construction, Inc.
